About the farm
The name of Santos, was named with the vigorous efforts of the grandfather of the Lezcano family. Santos Cafe represent 5 generations of coffee producers since 1947. Located in Renacimiento of Santa Clara, the farm has an extension of 55 hectares in which they grow Caturra and Catuai plantations blended in a volcanic soil that goes from 1100 up to 1400 masl. With a new acquisition they are also growing Pacamara, Bourbon and Geisha on a farm called La Mimada, which is their higher altitude with temperatures that goes bellow 15ºC. This farm is highly helped by wide grown shade, investing on their temperature variations, the end result is more sweet and bright.
In order to handcraft the cup quality, they have a team of professional, from several agronomists to a master in coffee (MCES). This strong team who backup and assist the family farm on the care and manual recollection of their wonderful beans.
