Product Description
The LAGOM 01 is designed to minimize tolerance stack, ensuring that all critical components align to within 0.01mm (10 microns). This unibody architecture guarantees exceptional alignment right out of the box, allowing baristas to focus entirely on making delicious coffee. Optimized for modern light roasts, the LAGOM 01 features in-house developed Mizen burrs and a suite of workflow refinements—including a new static-reduction system and a modular platform—making it an effortless powerhouse for both professional cafés and demanding home brew bars.
Key Features
-
Mizen Burrs for Modern Light Roasts
- In-house developed Mizen burrs are specially developed with modern light roasts in mind.
- Optimized geometry improves flavor separation to produce a sweet, juicy cup profile for specialty light roasts.
- XL 102mm blind burr format minimizes retention further and provides ~18% increase in effective grinding surface area compared to standard 98mm burrs, all within the same compact housing.
- Also available with 98mm-carrier configuration for those who prefer access to 98mm burrs.
-
Micron-Level Precision & Alignment
- Critical components machined to +/-0.01mm (10 microns) or better, with unibody design minimizing tolerance stack for excellent alignment right out of the box.
- Precision zero-calibration system: fully disassemble for cleaning and reassemble with grind settings returning exactly to their original position—no recalibration required.
- Improved visibility of grind setting from the front, even in extreme ranges such as filter and espresso.
-
Ultra Low Retention with Static-Reduction
- New static reduction technology, designed to be maintenance free and self-cleaning, makes RDT optional even in low-humidity environments.
- Ensures coffee grounds are evenly dispensed into the portafilter with minimal spill from static.
-
New Improved Chute Knocker & Modular Platform
- Improved magnetic-assisted chute knocker, with simple flick to effortlessly clear lingering grind residue from the chute for precise dosing.
- New modular platform, versatile and with lowered height, accommodates supplied magnetically-attached 58mm portafilter holder or grind cup, easily adaptable to aftermarket accessories.
-
Seamless Workflow & Automation
- Refinements enhance workflow efficiency to create a seamless, intuitive experience with minimal effort.
- Features variable RPM (200-1700 RPM), auto-purge, auto switch-off, and easy-to-read dial for effortless grinding.
- Removable safety grind-setting limiter adds user-friendliness and prevents accidental burr damage.
-
Built to Last & Commercial Ready
- Industrial-grade brushless DC motor (Peak 1300W) for exceptional reliable performance.
- Constructed using standard components for ease of maintenance and repair, built to withstand the test of time in home or commercial settings (café brew bar, roastery, coffee lab).
