About the farm

La Guadua is a 5 hectares farm, located around 2100 masl, in the Nariño region of Colombia. Jimmy Gomez, producer of this family farm, has always admired the beautiful work of producing coffee. The Gomez family has been dedicated to the cultivation of coffee by tradition before Jimmy was born. As he grew up in the industry, he worked along with other coffee growers, learning and innovating together. Jimmy's previous work as an analyst and a cupper, has enabled him to venture into the cultivation of new varieties and the application of non-conventional processing methods, which has distinguished him among the specialty coffee industry.
